About The Operational Performance Group
The Operational Performance Group delivers functions that facilitate the design, evaluation, and improvement of services across the University, and business partnering services to Chancellery.

About the Role
As the Business Intelligence (BI) Data Developer, you will be responsible for undertaking the following activities in relation to the University's Data Assets:

Documenting requirements and technical solutions within the BI environment

Backend and frontend development for the Data Warehouse, Enterprise Reporting System and Data Lake

Backend and frontend support activities

Peer reviews and system testing of other developer's code

Release management

Resolution of data issues

Assisting in root cause analysis of any data issues

Responsibilities include:

Undertake development tasks as directed by Director, Data Operations or Data Development Lead

Work based on agreed priorities, expectations and provide regular and clear status updates to team management

Assist with system, integration and user acceptance testing

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to work effectively and efficiently within a team and individually when required. Your advanced verbal and written communication skills will enable you to confidently build and maintain rapport with stakeholders from various diverse communities. You will ensure all assigned tasks are completed professionally and proactively in a timely manner to meet with strict deadlines.

You will also have:

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training

In-depth experience working as a BI developer within a large and complex data warehouse environment

Extensive experience with SQL and PL/SQL technologies within an Oracle environment

Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools
